Nick and Sarah did a great job with keeping us informed and explaining the process of each step of the home buying. Thank you so much

I really like the way this company makes the loan process easy. I especially liked the easy communication via text. It really saved a lot of time being on the phone and needing to call every time I had questions. The representatives replied quickly and were always able to answer my questions. The online platform is easy to use and made it easy to upload and see documents.

Veterans united .Thank you

This is the second home I have purchased with VU. There is one more remaining next summer, be ready!

I have had several mortgages. I don't see any benefit to going through the VA. Service was bad and we had to pay a $2000 funding fee. Had problems along the way that I have never had getting a mortage in the past.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Ronald,
Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m really sorry to hear that this mortgage process didn’t meet your expectations and that you faced challenges you’ve never encountered before. It’s frustrating to feel like the service fell short, especially when you’re counting on things to go smoothly.
I understand that the VA funding fee can be an unexpected cost, and I’m sorry that it added to your frustrations. We aim to make the VA loan process as straightforward and beneficial as possible, and it sounds like we didn’t achieve that here. Thank you again for your feedback. We take it seriously and are committed to improving our service for veterans like you.
My team would like to look into what went wrong during your loan process to better understand where we could have done better. If you’re open to it, please reach out at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’d appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly.
Veterans United was an exceptional company to work with through the entire loan process. They were considerate of my lack of experience with such a detailed process and were available to assist me in providing the correct and required information during the entire loan process. Kendall and Dana were outstanding helpers.

I highly recommend Veteran's United to anyone entering the housing market. Especially a first-time buyer like me. There were no surprises, and I wasn't stumbling around trying to figure out the process. United Veteran's was with me every step of the way answering every question and setting up the paperwork flow.CB

We were so scared to start this process. The entire team made this so much easier then we could have imagined. Always there for us, always patient, got us our dream home. Will always recommend VU. Thank you for making our dream come true!!!

I really appreciate how friendly everyone is. It is nice to have a running relationship with a company rather just feeling like a transaction. I appreciate that.

I appreciate all the work done by my team. They alleviated a lot of my concerns and made the process of buying a home less daunting. I would definitely recommend to my veteran friends and family.

Lauren Bost, Charlie Marshman, Kayla Humphrey, Robin Watkins, and LJ Hunt have all been nothing short of amazing throughout this entire process making this experience as smooth as possible. From the beginning this team has been very responsive, informative, and ensure our needs were not only met but exceeded our expectations. It was a pleasure working with this team I wouldn't have wanted to do this with anyone else. Thank you!

I was very pleased with the ease of this whole issue. I personally loved being able to upload everything. They reached out to me if I needed to add or update anything and it was processed quickly.I actually did just recommend you to a friend who is considering refi. Thanks

I took screen shots of literally everything, websites, home inspector website and Facebook profile, text convos, and call history, so please feel free to reach out and I can send those to you if you need. Like I recommended to the veterans united customer advocate, I recommend conducting an internal investigation to ensure this situation wont happen to others in the future. $28000 due to negligence is a big mistake.
Response from Veterans United
Thank you for reaching out again and for offering to share the documentation you’ve gathered, Matthew.
I’m truly sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced and the financial impact this has had on you. $28,000 due to negligence is indeed a significant and unacceptable mistake, and I completely understand your frustration.
I appreciate your recommendation for an internal investigation, and I want you to know that your feedback is being taken very seriously. To make sure we address every aspect of your experience and prevent this from happening to others, we’d like to review the documentation you mentioned. If you’re willing, please send those screenshots and any other details to me at ClientAdvocate@vu.com or give us a call at 1-800-212-5200.
We’re committed to learning from this situation and making any necessary changes to better serve veterans in the future. Thank you again for your candid feedback and for the opportunity to influence a positive change.
This has been a wonderful experience our team has been there with us every step of the way and I would not have had it any other way. All questions and concerns were answered in a timely manner, and they were available to us through all communication aspects.

Amazing coordination between all team members. They really made the process into a smooth one. 10/10 would recommend
