Veterans United has wonderful people working for them.
From the initial contact over three months ago, I was shuffled between a number of people before settling on one loan officer. Then, there were so many bumps in the road with the underwriters and title company, that the whole process became harrowing and tedious. In the long run, I wish I had just refinanced with my credit union, because being a veteran did not get me any special deals.
We were very pleased with everyone we dealt with with. They all were thorough, professional, and eager to help us through all our dealings with them.
My broker was great. But the LOs and closing team caused several headaches in the final hour of getting everything squared away.Better communication between the home builder/seller and VU would have made a sizeable difference in how the whole process unfolded.
