The staff at VU responded to my questions in a timely manner and submitted paper to the right people.
My experience with the loan team was enjoyable. They returned emails promptly and answered all my questions and reassured me about the process when things felt like it wasn't going smoothly. The only issue that could have been better was closing on time, we had a 60 day closing and it got delayed a week. The reason was a survey delay for the adjoining lot I purchased. I felt if it was a requirement to have it verified that the two lots were contiguous, then it should have been done prior to 5 days before closing. But other than that I was extremely satisfied in the service and delivery of Ashley Cook and Kendra Ford. They were great.
It was an easy process especially for new home buyers. Clay Rose made the experience of being first time buyers simple. He was very reliable, answered all our questions, most of resourceful. I appreciate his dedication and integrity to us and his career. My fiancee serve this country for many years, and Clay acknowledge that and gave everything he got to make sure his services were recognize. As a first time home buyer, Cody and the rest of the team made the experience a good one. The team was very helpful, explaining the process as it went along.
Some issues with local connections, i.e. appraiser, which slowed down the whole process. If not for the commitment of the realtor agent this very well could have fallen through.
Unfortunately, this fell short of "outstanding" due to my loan specialist.
Everyone was great to me.

Omg, I've heard nothing but horrible things about buying a house and of course with this being our first home we were terrified. Veterans United literally did everything. They were phenomenal. I asked a ton of question and worried for no reason. Any time I needed something they always were there to assist me. Keegan Magee and Kelly Steeley went above and beyond. In fact when it was time to close they were ready a week early. I will never use anyone else when buying our future homes!!! Thank you so much for being awesome!
