Well, I don’t know where to begin… the thought of buying a home for my wife and I was always something at the back of our mind. I was hesitant at first because when I was doing my initial quote last year (I believe), I was afraid of commitment to something I was sure I could not get out of. My fears were unjustified. Get prequalified was not as daunting as I thought it would be. And our loan officer, Destiney, was so thoughtful and very helpful in getting us the best deal we could afford, even with our finances. She gave us the confidence of buying our first. Her team was always willing to help and make a veteran feel like a veteran, even though are some who deserve even more than I do. They truly helped every step of the way… addressed any questions or concerns we had. And were always reassuring of everything. But it is crucial when buying a home to always stay in the guidelines they set. It is important! But they got us into a lovely home and were always diligent and ready to do whatever it was that was necessary to get us the keys! I cannot thank the team enough for their hard work! Even though it was stressful, it was our own making. Because the team was with us every step of the way… don’t be afraid to buy a home… it is the best debt you can possibly have! And Veterans United made it all possible and by the Grace of God working through them! Thank you all so much!

As a rule of thumb, regarding V.U.'s Mark Sexton and his team's performance, my personal recommendation would be to get a new appraisal scale like my volume knobs that go to, at the very least, 11. They have ALL performed well above and beyond the call of duty for, in my opinion, what would be appropriate or required of any normal business and its customer service and relation's practices. If I were in any position to make adjustments, disbursements, recommendations, etc. regarding payroll or bonuses at Veterans United, Mark and his entire team would likely have a VERY, VEEEERY merry Christmas. I would recommend them all to anyone trying to purchase a home through the V.A.. As a musician from TEXAS, who knows and loves a good tune, I MAY just write a songaboucha, however, I MUST give respect to your band there, YA'LL ROCK. Being a Veteran I was not sure what to expect, going through the process was simple, with a team like this how can you go wrong, working at VA hospital I recommended the team to a couple of collogues what becomes of it I'm not sure but I'm very proud of the work that was done for me and will not forget it Thank You so guys and for the gifts, very blessed to have people like you looking out for me. I am just a veteran, who is formerly one of those homeless guys you see on the street. Unwashed, dependent on others to eat and receive the necessary basics of life. I never thought I would be able to go home but you made that possible. Now instead of needing a number for a hotline to continue to live, I can live in a house that will be my own. There will be new responsibilities and new capabilities and the freedom to call my own shots. The road to get to this destination was long, longer than I even imagined, but now the job is done and I am no longer homeless.
You did that for me when I was not capable of doing it myself.
