As a disabled veteran I have experienced many challenges and setbacks since retiring. As a first time homebuyer I was nervous my home buying experience would also be a challenge. From Hawaii to Missouri was an interesting experience. But we fell in love with the people and the pace of Warrensberg, Mo. As a veteran, using the VA route was automatic and I was referred by my son in law who is active Air Force here at Whiteman AFB. As soon as I inquired on line, I was being helped and in a few days I was pre approved and from there the right people was either referred or made contact with us. Escrow here was nice as well and helped make the transition smooth. I know you’ll be there for me at anytime I may have a question and being this far away bring us peace. Truly appreciate and blessed. Being from Hawaii, I would say you United Veterans showed us the Aloha spirit. 🌺. Blessings y’all. 🤙

As a first time VA home buyer to say the process was daunting at first is an understatement. I had no clue where or how to start. I called VU to get started and the amount of knowledge and help they provided was amazing. I had lack luster credit and qualification seemed out of reach. The team at VU explained and laid out a road map, literally step by step, that lead not only to the successful purchase of the perfect home for us, but set me on a heathy finical track for life.
