The service Alberto and Holly provided was second to none. They were professional and answered all questions in a timely manner. They are the best. I will definitely refer them to my veteran friends!
I would just like to thank everyone at Veterans United Home Loans for their professional courtesy .
Overall excellent experience. The only suggestion I might have is to let people know up front that a VA loan is not as straightforward as one might expect. We did 2 months of legwork digging up documents and signing statements. many times along the way we were ready to just give up. For every 3 documents requested and turned in, 6 more were requested. This continued right up until final approval. Maybe not disclosing this difficulty is a technique to not scare away borrowers in the earlier stages. Regardless, I personally would have liked a little heads up as to what to expect during the process. (Gonna lose sleep, gonna get tired of writing and signing statements, etc.) !!

I appreciate Mr. Cooper always keeping me updated on the status of my application
The overall process of buying a house and going through veterans United was very pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to go through them next time too!
I cannot say enough about how the VU loan team far exceeded our expectations and made our first home purchase a smooth and seamless experience. We were paired with an outstanding team, most notably our loan officer Sydney McFall and our referred real estate agent Lisa Moroniak. They were not only a proficient team but also very enjoyable to work with. I would absolutely recommend VU to anyone.
I would recommend Veterans United but I want to mention that I was disappointed in an unexpected delay that occurred due to the need for subordination on my home equity loan. I was not aware of the requirement until the end of the process.
This was the 2nd time we use VU and if there is ever a 3rd we will be calling Katie directly just like we did this time. Thank you again for the great experience and ease of working with your team. This was the easiest home loan process I have ever been through.
Thank you so much, thanks to you we are now living in our dream home. This was obviously a very difficult and stressful road, but your company and my loan specialist honestly made everything very simple. I never had a question go un-answered, and always answered immediately with the utmost information which made us very happy. I am glad that you have very professional and friendly staff. It always makes things easier when asking questions or talking about certain situations and Zach knew pretty much everything right off. Talking to people that know exactly what they are talking about and obviously experts in their profession helps me feel very comfortable and helped with a lot of the stress. Again thank you so much.
I know my grammar and English are not the best but, I really just mean it was a great experience and still can't believe how well it all went and how easy this whole process was thanks to Zach and his team.
Thanks and merry christmas
In my life I've went through many loan processes this was by far the smoothest because of the way Gerrit handled himself through out the process. His knowledge of how it all works helps take the stress off the process.
This was a very pleasant experience. My realtor, Linda Levin, and the sellers realtor and the title company representative were very impressed that the whole process only took 23 days from start to close. Thank you and I will definitely refer family and friends to VU.
This is from a letter I sent to Dan Kelly, Amanda Thurman, and Cooper Allen this past Thanksgiving:
To an outstanding team:
I wanted to take a moment out of your busy day to simply tell you - thank you. Giving thanks is not something I think of very often. Honestly, I cannot remember the last time I sat down long enough to sincerely thank someone or the people that have helped me along the way. I think that because I am a very focused and driven person, I forget that sometimes, it is not about the work that I do – it’s about the journey and those that have helped me along the way. Typically, I express my gratitude in the work that I do for others rather than expressing it verbally. This November, as I sit in the house you all helped me own; I find that it is pretty hard to remain silent. Where I do not think that my words will give my thoughts justice, it is my hope that y’all will read this letter and understand why I hold all of you and Veterans United in the highest regards.
Amanda – We started a journey several years ago when my initial steps to homeownership brought me to you. Even though I believed otherwise, my finances were effectively in rubble. You helped me come up with a plan, and I worked that plan to get my finances whipped into shape. Even when I stumbled you remained calm, optimistic, and more importantly– you kept an amazing positive attitude that helped me continue to drive forward. We both watched as my scores ebbed and flowed like the tides, never remaining still long enough for me to lock anything down. At times, the dream of owning a home began to seem just like that – a dream. I asked if there were anything else I could possibly do, and even when there was no real answer for you to give me, you kept me hopeful that it was only a matter of time. I hope you know that your positive attitude has influenced me both personally and professionally. You played a huge part in getting me here and I cannot express enough how grateful I am to you.
Cooper – Although, I did not get to spend much time with you – I found in our first conversation that we had a lot in common. I wanted you to know that I really appreciate you and the work you did for me while I was house hunting in Texas. Just as I was getting ready to go in on a house, my work took me to Louisiana instead. This goes to show you that if you keep yourself open to new opportunities and experiences – the amazing can happen. I know that you were recently married and I wanted to make sure you knew about this one little lesson I learned that might help you along the way . . . remember that you're the lucky one because she chose you. If you keep that thought in your head. The “arguments†you may have actually become pretty hilarious.
Dan - What can I say bud? I think they should just call you the “Danimal.†You're a beast! You worked with me through what - something like 4 or 5 different houses? You put up with my anxiety and frustration throughout the process and helped me deal with a pretty crazy realtor (turns out she was pretty awesome too). Helping me understand what seemed impossible to understand at times had to be a bit of a chore, yet you stuck with me to the end. With your help and guidance, we got it done brother and I cannot thank you enough.
We may have finished working together on the house, but I hope you all know that I do not think of you as strangers or simply as people who did a good job. I like to think of you as good friends and mentors. So, I extend this open invitation to each of you. If any of you ever get out this way, please feel free to give me a call. Please accept this letter as a small token of my appreciation for your hard work. It is the least I could do as a way to give back to those who so selflessly helped me obtain my dream of homeownership.
Grateful beyond measure,
I started my journey with Carla Blair-Gamblian, the manager for the Lighhouse Tam, and this forum is not enough to express my gratitude to her. She was FANTASTIC!!!!! She was very polite, very patient with my questions, and extremely knowledgeable.
She walked through the entire scneraios to clean up the errors in my reports and as such, we obtained a positive outcome. Again, Carla was energetic and like I said above, FANTASTIC!!! I was very, very pleased with her and her total regard to help me work through the issues.
I could not have been happier with the service provided by Chris Primmer and Veterans United Home Loans.
