Veterans United was aware great choice to handle my VA home loan. I was very pleased with the service and they found ways to save me money at every turn. They made the process easy to understand for a first time home buyer like me.James Walrod was outstanding. I couldn't have imagined someone doing that good of a job. He was always available to answer questions. He went above and beyond when explaining the process and any items we didn't understand. He was friendly and courteous. He was also very understanding and patient with me as I have a very demanding job with hours that make it difficult for me to communicate during the normal business day. This is my second time working with Holly and the Veterans United team. I utilized VU to purchase my home and now I am back to take advantage of a lower interest rate by refinancing. I did obtain a refinance offer from another lender for comparison. The original offer from Holly and Veterans United was very transparent and easy to understand, and it did not require me to come out of pocket for closing costs. While the competitor provided an offer which on the surface provided a lower interest rate and monthly payment, but was loaded with fees and required me to make a substantial payment at closing. The moral of this story is that there is nothing wrong with comparison shopping; it will just prove that Veterans United is superior to the competition! Thanks to Holly and her team for another excellent experience!!!!!!
