Give Loan Officers proper training. I was given false information over and over again. The loan officer delayed in requesting needed documents which cause lots of anguish and frustration. The over experience was not a very pleasant one.
The loan officer should never say the loan is complete or that the buyers dont need to send anything else it until thw underwriter sends the loan to the seller or title company. This happened about ten times during my loan. I was informed I jad everything turned in and my loan was good then told that with out a certain document my loan wouldny be funded and the seller would find a new buy. This even happened on my clsing day! (Which was already delayed a week) because the underwriter wanted to see one more thing! Everything prior to this point was excellent and I couldnt have been happier. Breck did a great job explaining all my concerns and asking for the required documents prior to me getting ready to close. Possible solution is over require what is needed during the pre-closing time before the underwriter takes over so that when they ask for another pay stib of tax form the loan officer already has it. Im not sure what the final solution is but it shouldnt continue as is because it adds emotional distress to an already stressful situation.
