You could go to underwriting earlier. My file was 98% done 2 weeks after accepted offer. It was still a "scramble" the last few days before closing. Everything I was asked for in the final days could have been turned in weeks earlier. No need for all the last minute drama! It seems like you wait till the last minute to collect all the data?

Be conscious of people's time. Calling several times (the team) and waiting on replies was not good. Barby was excellent when she was available, but the team dropped the ball when she was on vacation. It seems once we were confirmed the process slowed down. In the beginning, everything was moving right along, actually fast and then it slowed down incredibly so, but this was our first experience and we are HAPPY!!! that it is finally over and we have a beautiful home. So, THANK YOU and we appreciate your help to the VETS!!!
The only reason they were not a 10 all the way was at first their communication was lacking but when we got that squared away...everything was fantastic...they understood and adapted so they were awesome and we couldn't be happier. We not only had a smooth loan but we were able to close a week early! Praise God for Brad Cone and Makensie Gash!
How bout if your locked in at a certain rate, and the rate goes lower, be able to get that lower rate at signing.Offer taxes and insurance not included in the loan.
