VUHL is an outstanding program, However our loan Officer, Tyler Harriman was sub-Parr at best.He ended up costing us a lot of time and money, and I would never recommend him to anyone EVER!!!!while our Loan specialist,Blake Weisenfelder was truly magnificent, unfortunately he went on vacation during our time of turmoil , and we had to suffer financially for it with extra hotel and closing costs that were not ready for. I will probably probably tell my friends and family to avoid the turmoil and just avoid your loan officer all together

why couldn't my wife do all the paperwork with just a general POA? I had to send 2 SPOA back, one we ran out of time for that instrate rate it had on it. just make sure you give the member the lotted amount of time if he is fwd deployed.
Things got off to a great start communication was great on both sides and the loan process simingly was going great. Then at the last two weeks of closing we ran into problems. There was a misunderstanding that we would be locked into a rate that would not exceed that of 3.75 % . Come to find out that we were not locked in as we thought and had to lock in at a higher interest rate of 4.0%, which over the course of the 30 year repayment plan will be a substantial amount of money. Our loan office did try to make it better by giving us a Loan credit of $1,500.00 Due to this misunderstanding (that was on paperwork for the interest rate,) I would not recommend Veterans United without having to go into detail of my experience with your company.
