All I can say is WOW!!! From the first house showing to the last. Our house hunt to purchase literally took about six months from start to finish. I must say that I became a little sad, when the houses I thought I liked did not come through for us. However, our final purchase was just what we needed and wanted. We are very happy with the total experience. Thank God. And thank you all for all that you do.
This is the 2nd time I’ve used Veterans United… overall I’m very happy, however, there could be some improvement in the order things are needed. I thought underwriting was a little “off their game” but Toby was great and responded quickly and assertively

I am absolutely blown away by the care and assistance received during the homebuying process. I had no idea that it would happen so fast, I went from start to finish in about 45 days! The way the team worked together was amazing, I got results super fast, I had several advocates, and my team ensured I stayed informed throughout the entire process. My experience with everyone on my team was nothing short of amazing. 3 years ago I was a homeless addict. Now, in 2024, I'm sober for 2 years, engaged, purchased my 1st home, got a new pup, and just in time for the new home, a baby on the way! I shared a bit of my story with some members of my team, and the support has been amazing. When I received my gift in the mail from the team, I nearly cried ugly tears! In the very beginning our loan team was excellent. They were great with communication and on top of everything. Then we got an accepted offer. This is where they shit the bed. We barley heard from Josh. We barley heard from our loan team as a whole. We had to rely on our realtor Maureen who was FANTASTIC! She was the one who got us all of our information.
Josh our loan officer and as well as our loan coordinator Ofelia did not communicate with us and if they did it was because we blew up Josh's phone. They wouldn't update our to do list all week untill 5pm on a Friday night. Our bank accounts were connected for weeks before we were told that there was an IT error and they never really were connected. They had the wrong email on file even though they were emailing my correct email. When it came time to get employment verification for my wife they didn't tell us they sent it to her employer. Our realtor told us they were waiting for the verification. We then reached out to my wife's employer only to be told they never received the verification from veterans United. So again, we had to chase our employers and our loan team to get the information we needed in order to close on time. We were then told less than 24 hours before our close date that we would not be closing till the following Monday because Josh and our loan team did not send us our disclosure 3 days before our close date. I was contacted by a client advocate with veterans United and told that our loan team did not do their jobs and that because of someone's vacation that we were basically forgotten about. When I go on vacation for my job someone is expected to take care of my work but that is not the case with veterans United. They just don't do the work .
If it wasn't for my wife, myself and our realtor we may not have even gotten our home.
We will never use veterans United again.
