Have no fear...we have already started passing around how Wonderful Veterans United treated us and the next time they decide to move or purchase another home...you should be the first folks to call!!
If we didn't need the loan for IRS purposes, we would've stopped the process. It is only because we HAD to continue to pay off the IRS that we did continue with you. I think Todd did the best he could. As my notes above stated, we couldn't tell if he had too much work or if this was new. We did not enjoy it and we will not use you again.
I'm not trying to sound angry but am a service manager myself and appreciate honesty from my customers. We get it wrong too so I'm not out trying to "get at you". You simply won't see us again.
I was impressed with everyone at VU. The extra effort was obvious. Jenna and Matt were both available at lengthy hours. I would be able to contact them from 7:00 AM to well after 8:00 PM in some instances. They showed true dedication and focus on my loan needs. GREAT WORK!!!! Also and not least important, the team sent a nice gift to our one year old daughter for our house warming. Very thoughtful.
Joe Mulia made the entire process so easy. He was always available to answer all of our MANY questions as first time home buyers. He took the time to explain each phase that we entered in the home buying process. We felt like we were his only clients. It is very hard to find such quality service these days and Joe was always extremely prompt and professional. Thank you Joe and Veterans United for allowing our dreams to come true!

Write down a clear cut what will be needed from the buyers for new constructions and if it changes from state to state have the requirements and necessary inspections listed so that buyers don't have to scramble to make arrangements at the very last minute. It's hard being in the military and not knowing when you are going to be able to get into your new home because more stuff is needed even though you were told that the lenders had everything that they needed.
You say you have a person pe-approved for a certain amount, but when they find a place they want, a person has to jump through more paperwork to be pre-pre-approved and still that is not enough to finnish this loan!
Had I not been so far along on this loan, I seriously would have considered throwing in the towel and starting with a different company.
If it wasn't for Vikki's determination, this may never have been done. She had to contact Veterans United multiple times to find out what was causing everything to be dragged out. She worked tediously with both Veterans United and the builder to make us feel that we were the important ones in this process. If it wasn't for her, we would probably have backed out of this deal because of all of the issues that were presented to us, most of which were procrastination and lack of follow-thru from the loan officer. We had to stay in a hotel for 8 days, because of the way this was handled at the end.
Inform clients the option to complete paperwork at a local VI office rather than try and complete the process on their own
Thank you Joe!
Thank you for the excellent service!
Mike and his team did a wonderful job and I will be more than happy to send anyone I know that is looking to purchase a house to see him
Worked great with my schedule since I was coming from out of state. She found several houses that my wife and I liked and put us in an area with good schools, nice neighborhood and close enough to everything we need.
I would like to thank the entire team for making my home buying experience a great experience!!!
