This process was so easy for buying a house. VU has so many people to help through the process!
I would recommend Veterans United, as we’ve used them in the past; however, this time wasn’t as smooth of a process. The communication between our “team” was less than optimal. What we thought we were getting and what “our team” thought didn’t line up for a bit, but ultimately we made it work. We also missed the initial closing date due to proofreading on our loan team. Somehow they missed the date on our papers not reflecting the correct date 30 minutes before we were supposed to close. Overall, not our best experience with a VA lender but like I said, we made it to the finish line and closed, so that’s the plus.

This experience was beyond our expectations. As first time homebuyers we had no idea what to expect or really what we were doing. The team was there every step of the way. Never too busy to help out. Most of this process happened as my family and I were driving across the country, without the team in place there is no way we could have completed this process. Seriously give everyone there a raise, they were on top of everything every step of the way. I’ve moved tons of time and getting into apartments have been harder and more difficult than this home buying process.
