Loan officer made this experience a whole lot better than i expected
My loan team has done an outstanding job. I'd like to thank Ben and Britney for doing an excellent job with helping me get a house for the first time in my life. And they've made a dream I've had finally come true. And I can't thank them enough. And they both were wonderful to work with. And I'm hoping all the veterans united loan teams are like Britney Wilhite and Ben Schwalenberg. They make veterans united great.
Dan is great, always knowledgeable about the whole process, you are fortunate if he is your loan officer.
We had been searching for a home for a while, and I only knew it would finally happen when I spoke with Juliana (out loan coordinator) on the phone. She walked us through the entire process and made sure that all throughout we understood what was going on and felt safe and secure before moving forward. We encountered some hiccups by way of the sellers, and Juliana helped us side step some of those issues and went above and beyond to make sure that everything had been resolved to the satisfaction of everyone involved. Cameron did great! Phil always does a great job, so glad he’s our guy!!! The lady that was chosen to be our notary during our document signing for our refi was awful!!!!!! Rude!!!! Told us we needed two witnesses the night before our signing so that’s as stressful! Recommend not using her as a notary for VU!!
First and foremost it was a pleasure to work with Veterans United. The staff was always available for questions and kept us informed of everything through the entire process. I started out at a 6.5% rate and by closing was down to 5.75%, a half point below average. The app and to-do list kept everything organized, allowed for rapid compilation of documents, and ensured my ability to close in 30 days. Once all documents were uploaded, underwriting and title only took 48 hours. My assigned loan team stayed the same through the entire process, which made communication easy. Being in the military means difficult hours. My loan team was always available and worked with my schedule. There were some issues with the Plaid service which auto-populates bank and other account information. I ended up just uploading two months of statements for all my accounts. This was the only issue and overall my loan experience was great.
This entire process was so smooth and simple, i had almost no knowledge on where to even begin and my team was absolutely incredible all i can i say is... THANK YOU SO MUCH!
