Jon Beahan and Kendall were great. We appreciate everything. Very people-oriented, very attentive throughout the process. We were on a deadline and our situation was pretty stressful. They helped us move on.
I think that the underwriters and loan officers should be on the same page. There were so many issues with what the underwriters wanted and the loan officers wanted something different. I think that the issues with the underwriting was completely uncalled for, they need to tell the loan officers what they are asking for so that the loans officers can no be slapped in the face when the underwriters decide to be difficult.
Mrs Sherri Williams was nice and I really appreciate her showing us our home, but I feel she tried to talk us out of the homes I wanted to see. I don't know if she knew what my approval amount was but she never wanted to show us anything above that amount. The one time she did I had to be more direct and I ended up with house I am in now.
When the buying process started, we did everything it seemed like I don't know if she was supposed to do anything. It just seemed like we did everything ourselves and I was not used to that and it was a little hard to get with her those last couple of days before the closing.
So beside the discouragement that she had for the pricing which I kinda understood. What does it hurt to look at a house even if you can't afford it. It can give you ideas if the house is decorated or it can let a person see what a dream house looks like. Also no one knows what a seller will accept or will not accept. Like me prime example my seller took 10K less than the asking price and if I had no been more stern Mrs Williams would not have shown me the house.

I had tried a well known national co. But was turned down.Matt was able to arrest my trepidation,, I was so grateful.
Mike P our loan helper was difficult to get ahold of for any information. Mike did not return our phone calls or emails in a timely manner. Mike told us to make contact with him if we needed anything but we could never get him when we DID need something or need an answer especially the last week of the closing which is most frustrating. We almost always had to go to Rachel then get an answer from mike. Tough to recommend when the last week of loan closing is so frustrating to deal with. Rachel was great, Mike should be easier to get in touch with.
Just want to say Thank you, we had a very good and interesting experience with Ute. She really worked hard and assisted us every step of the way I can honestly say. Though we never met in person, all the times we communicated it was like we could always get along. she really does care about helping us achieve our goals. We always had well meaningful conversations. she provided excellent services to us. Thank you.

You need to make sure that the customer knows exactly what he or she needs to come to the day of closing with and, if money needs to be sent, that it may need to be wired (which can take 24-48 hours). In addition, I travel internationally and had i not called in advance to ask what was needed on closing day we may have run into problems with me not being in the country.

Thank you, Veterans United for all the assistance in getting this house! The process from the 1st time we called until we closed took exactly 6 weeks and despite all the paperwork that was required, it seemed to go very smoothly. The communication from John Parker and his efforts to resolve any issues were very prompt, courteous and professional.
I think it just like most of the complaints that I read on Veteran United is most of the things I experienced. You are a large company with a lot check and balances. And dealing with the government that adds another element of red tape that we all know is part of the government environment.
I would recommend both Mike and Gina to any potential home buyer. They told me exactly what needed to happen in order to make the loan process run smoothly. I cant thank them enough for helping buy my house and get my loan approved. They were great!

When I bought my home with Navy Federal Credit Union it was a nightmare. They acting if I was doing them a favor. NFCU loan officer never kept me undated with the process and when she did it was on a Friday. NFCU loan officer was very rude and had to explain to me how her husband out ranks me. So going into the refinancing process I was ready for a real big headache. But dealing with Veterans United was total opposite. Samantha Jacobs the transaction coordinator for Sam Sextauer was top notch, dedicated, and commented to the loan. Couldn't asked for a better person to work with than Samantha. That show the professionalism and dedication Sam Saxtauer and Veterans United are commented to make for veterans getting a loan easy and a smooth process. Thank you Veterans United. You have great people working for and I highly recommend you for that.
