I am grateful for the amount of help VU provides during the home buying process, and even the continued support after. However, all well oil machines require maintenance and updates. I think a central liaison is better than having to find that specific team member to find help.

I said most above but I can not give enough credit where credit is due. The entire team I worked with were really too good to be true type of scenario. My stress was always kept down to a minimum because of each one of these members I worked with, questions were always answered immediately and the genuine care/ support was just so relieving and sincere it made this process easy. Madison and Alex I can’t stress enough will get the job done and are two dedicated individuals who deserve more than a thank you. I appreciate this company especially team of people I was blessed and privileged to have by my side during this life changing move and purchase. Thank you all again, you will all absolutely hear from me and receive referrals in the near future !!!

We have lived all across the world and the worst part of a new assignment is the move. Our last two moves, just like all of our other moves, took us to places where we had never been and had no support network. The difference of these last two moves is we were not stressed at all. Tyler’s team and Veterans United has our back! What this team can accomplish is amazing! The active listening and clear communication built the highest levels of trust! At the beginning, everything was great. I had great communication and everyone was calling me and keeping me informed of the next steps. I was on top of my “to-do” list and they typically got back to me fairly quickly. However, once it got into underwriting, everything fell apart. Suddenly the items submitted weren’t what they needed, they needed additional information, I needed to get more inspectors out to the house and I had to pay all this extra money for extra inspections AND we closed 8 days behind schedule. Dylan told me I was a top priority, but I certainly did not feel like it. It felt like I was intentionally being screwed with and these additional minor things were being added because I had called and was less than happy when talking with Dylan. I would not use Veteran’s United again…it’s great that they sent me “thank you gifts” but it doesn’t excuse the horrible treatment at the end of the loan when I really needed things wrapped up due to an already bad situation, causing me to have to rush to buy this home.

I’m really sorry you didn’t feel like a priority to your loan team. You most definitely are and I’m sorry we didn’t convey that well enough when it mattered. I get that we ask for a lot, so I hope a little clarification helps. The information an underwriter needs to give final loan approval isn’t always completely documented at the time your loan officer preapproves you. That's why it’s quite common for underwriting to request additional clarification or items to ensure your loan is done correctly within VA guidelines. We sincerely value your feedback and hope to restore some of the trust we lost here.
