Veterans United helped me buy my first house. I went into this knowing I knew very little about home buying, and the team assisted my spouse and me the whole way through the transaction. We were able to leverage a cashback offer that other banks were offering for 1.75% on the home price as a way to either pay closing costs or to buy down our interest rate. We got lucky and our sellers agreed to pay the closing costs, so we got a great interest rate.
