The portal to upload docs was really user friendly and so easy to check on the status of my loan. I also enjoy being able to text my loan coordinator instead of making a phone call for one quick question. The process was seamless and really great. Everyone who worked on my file made the most stressful situation (home buying) a smooth sailing process. So thankful for my team.
Company was not clear on closing cost. Cost me over 15k when it was done! I’m a 100% Disabled Veteran in Texas and haven’t paid property taxes in over 15 years, bit will have to pay just under 3K this year due to closing table debacle! I should have went with Navy Federal!

I would also like to say that Alex McBeth was also a joy to speak with. She quoted me an amazing deal with Travelers insurance and even added a rider to protect me and my interest during the sellers extended stay (30 days after closing), in our new home. Which is apparently guaranteed under Ohio real estate law.
I'd like to shout out Julie, she was as big a part of the team as the rest. Her working in tandem with Alex and Kaylyn made this whole process exceptional... Julie was kind and patient and I could really tell that she cared about me and my situation. When we got the go ahead to close she and I laughed and danced on the phone together.This whole process was amazing. I'm very glad that I choose to use Veterans United. I was cautious about applying for VA home loan through Veterans United. However, the home buying process through veterans United is well organized and kind of like those book home buying for idiots. In closing, when do I get to meet Rob Riggle.
