Matt McDaniel and his team did a great job getting me into my new home!!
The loan agent (Nathan Cain) and the Realtor (Maryanne O'Brien) agent that VUH recommended were great. I will certainly recommend both of them to all of our friends in the area. They helped with so many of our questions and had closing and clearing feel like a breeze. Thank you to both of them for allowing this to be a pleasant experience.
The only issue I had during the loan process was a notification that was sent late and delayed closing by a day. Sam immediately called me about it and took ownership of the mistake and also told me what he was going to do to make it right. His honesty was refreshing, especially since every issue I had with the builder's representative seemed to result in me having to listen to thirty minutes of excuses for why it was not their fault. Samantha was very helpful and stayed in contact so I was never left wondering how things stood with the lender. I appreciate the help I got from both Sam and Samantha.
We were very pleased with our experience! We have no complaints!

I just wish there would of been more communication between underwriter's and the information that was required from myself. The were many frustrating moments concerning information I did or did not need.
Eric Barosso was very helpful and extremely courteous to me and my wife. He made our adventure of buying our first home easy and we felt well taken care of by him.
The real estate agent (Anna Vidal) who was assigned to us was the absolute best. She was always available even late at night! Text messages, e-mails, and phone calls were always answered promptly. Not to mention, we started the home buying process across the country, and she was willing to meet up with our parents accommodate our needs-- she did face time with us for each house and was very thorough from pointing out minor issues to the bigger issues of the homes. She was very knowledgeable with the VA loan process. She was very personable and friendly. I was very happy to work with her. She certainly knows her stuff from real estate to the VA loan. I would recommend any veteran to work with her-- especially if relocating,Jose Pogoada, our loan officer, was amazing from the day we called out of nowhere one late Friday afternoon. That phone call he ran the initial numbers and were able to tell us if we we pre-qualified and how much. We were pre-qualified for up to 300k. He was also very informative and gave us a realistic picture when it came to numbers etc. We were able to be pre approved a couple of business days later for the same 300k that he suggested we would be able to be approved for. He pretty much hand held us through the whole process and answered all the question we had about loans and the VA process. He is very friendly and super thoughtful. I would recommend him to anyone!
I can't say enough positive things about Breck . She was there for us throughout the entire process and had such a positive attitude. We may have drove her crazy with all the questions we asked but she answered everyone of them quickly and put our minds at ease. Breck did an outstanding job! Thank you!!!Chad
It's moments like these that make me feel very proud to be a veteran and thank veterans united for their service to veterans..
Roll Tide Roll
It's like I stated above, when you think you are buying a home and are safe in it, just to see the Police after eight years come to you door with a notice to get out, because the people you are to be buying the house fromare not making payments to the bank, That is a feeling I wish on no one, I called Aaron Brooks and asked if there was any way VA United could help me, Aaron, said we will do out best, After a very short time a JohnnyMitchell called and said that him and Aaron were working on getting me into a home, and there would be some paper work that had to be completed. all paper work was completed and within a month I have mynew home, that was even faster than when purchased my Truck in 2006. These two guys and of course there staff did everything anyone could have done to help me get into my house under this kind of pressureThey did an OUTSTANDING JOB, and I would tell any one I know that's looking for help to just go to VA UnitedThe Job will get done. I just don't know how to tell you guy's what you did for me. except THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! Thanking You Again!!William R Jackson
The biggest attributes in dealing with Veterans United (for us), was that my wife and I felt like we mattered and that we were part of the V.U. family. From the small conversations, friendliness and even down to little things like the initial welcome packet with Jason's bio, and family information were just awesome. It made us feel like we mattered, not our money or our business, and that is why we will continue to do business with V.U. in the future. I also like to comment on the loan status page that is new. That is a great process and what a wonderful idea. The more information people have, the easier the process becomes. Overall, 10 . Keep up the great work.Sincerely,Mark and Ann Formica
