I could not have chosen a better, seemingly more sincerely invested, team than those I worked with at VU. The company itself was great to work with and I liked using their app.
My only real complaint was unfortunately at the eleventh hour. I don't know if a message failed to reach me, or if it was an oversight on their end, but I was not made aware that I needed to wire my down payment, or even what account to send it to until the lawyer for the estate I was buying from asked about it. I came in expecting to cut a check, so that was a bit stressful.
Overall I would absolutely recommend VU.

He is absolutely without a shadow of a doubt for his Veterans. I highly recommend all veterans to use veterans United and ask for Zach to be their loan officer.
The majority of my issues were with the VA loan process and the delays related to the VA.Also, the paper trail process could have been explained to me in a direct and up front manner, I thought that offering paystubs and account info would be sufficient but in the end the transferring of money between my wife and I became a tedious explanation that I felt was not worth the time to invest in given our truncated closing time.I would also comment on the closing process and the delays we encountered. We were forced into a hotel at our own cost and had to lease both the houses we were selling and buying in order to account for the delays in closing. This was an inappropriate financial cost to my wife and I.I am just glad to be done with this process.
I really appreciate the package with the custom beach towel, cooler and tumbler. That was totally unexpected but was such a kind gesture. The only issue I had during the process were software issues when trying to connect my bank account.
Veterans United is the only lender I would use when buying a home. Our buying process started to take a turn for the worse but our loan Officer, Zach Roberts kept the deal moving forward and got us everything we needed, day or night. As a veteran, I appreciate that level of hustle and commitment...

The VA loan process can be tedious. There were, I felt a lot of unexpected expenses but these were anticipated. We were able to get everything in order and close 5 days earlier than expected. Everyone we spoke with and dealt with were very professional and assisted or clarified any questions or issues we had. All in all it was a positive experience and we are happy to be moving into our forever home. Thank you!
