Being a first time home buyer, I was nervous as to how the process would go. However, Casey Martin and the team; Jill, Drew, and everyone else made my experience fantastic and super easy. They really answered any questions or concerns and were the epitome of professionalism and knowing their jobs and keeping you on track. A big thank you to Casey and his team from my family. We will definitely use Veteran’s United again in the future.
The People I worked with were great. (Especially Crystaline Loveless - she was the only reason I stayed) However, after shopping around lenders, there was no real benefit to choose verterans united over other lenders. Especially as a veteran. There were no lower rates or anything offered in comparison. Being a veteran and asking around to other veterans in a large military community, I didnt know anyone who had used or even heard of Veterans United for home loans. (Other than that they harass your phone once they somehow find out through third parties that you are shopping for a home). I do appreciate the people I worked with as they were professional. (again Crystaline was amazing and the key factor that I didnt use another lender) But I wouldnt recommend using Veterans United to any family or friends because as important as quality customer service is, I really didnt feel like there was a Veterans benefit in any way to choosing them. All my contacts has suggestions of great lenders that have VA loan experience and advise great customer service as well. And they actually offered the same and even lower rates. I was too far in the process to switch and I again stayed because of Crystaline and all her assistance while I was feeling overwhelmed as a first time home buyer.
