Dave not only saved my loan on my dream house, he was also able to keep my closing date the same, and he was able to close it in less than two weeks. I was working with another lender before, and it was nothing but bad news after bad news, so I figured I would try Vetrans United.

Back in 2011 I worked with Mason on getting pre-approval for purchasing a home. I was then notified of a deployment shortly after starting the process. After getting settled once returning my wife and I decided to start the process again. We found the information to get in touch with Mason since he was so helpful the first time. Mason and Justin made the entire process very easy and smooth, and now we are first time home owners! In the future if/when we decide to upgrade into a larger home i will be calling on Mason and Justin again. Let me begin by saying I was blown away that I could was able to qualify for a home! Second, my husband and I have been looking for quite some time (kinda picky). I was very much appreciative of the fact that Neal always just dropped me a little hello note every couple three weeks checking in, and at time giving me much needed advice on different properties and what his VA feelings were. Once we did find the property, we could not believe how smoothly and quickly the process went. Quite honestly we were expecting things to take a lot longer. Both Neal and Roxanne were wonderful...both have talked me off the stress ledge! As per normal I am sure, there was a snag at the 9th hour of the closing. Thankfully Neal was right on top of the situation, a solution was found, and one final time - a talk off the ledge. . . our experience was great and I would recommend Veterans United.

VUHL representatives were excellent overall. They were very direct with what they needed and always had an answer for any questions I had. This having been my first home purchase, they were on top of every situation and made the proces very easy. I can't thank Veterans United enough.
The team I had - Mike Mange, Adam Carr, Chey Brown - were good to work with. All my contacts with them were cordial and their responses were prompt. No complaints with them. I do have a problem with a process that took OVER 150 days to complete. I began my application with VUHL in mid-Setember and had closing on Feruary 22. I was always told process required more time. Also my initial contacts with VUHL stated that the interest rate was 3.25% but initial papers will list the rate at 3.75% for figuring costs. I have papers that state the interest rate is NOT locked at that time unless otherwise disclosed "on a separate Rate Lock Disclosure Form". I firmly believed that my final rate was going to be 3.25%. The higher rate prevailed. I am currently working with Dave Chapman and Kayla Prentiss to refinance at 3.25%. I am grateful for their assistance.

I have never experienced such professionalism as I have dealing with VUHL, from the beginning Eric and his team Stephanie and Samantha Buckridge were really fantastic. Any questions I needed answered was taken care of immediately.
The process wasn't too bad.. I feel sorry for the loan officers who are only doing their job but are on the front line facing our frustrations. Even though we were "pre-approved" I think it is misleading to say this as there is so much more to complete to be "approved". I was thankful that our loan officer, Ted, kept us very informed and made the process a lot easier. He did a great job easing our frustrations with the process.
