I have entirely too many positive things to say about our experience, I am afraid that I began I will write a novel! Let’s just say you have a loyal customer and fan.
Brandon and Koleen allowed us to live the American Dream. We spent a lot of time researching and talking to different lenders and felt the most comfortable with them with the knowledge they displayed with working with Veterans. Throughout the process they kept us updated and made sure we knew what was going on. The whole process was smooth which helped keep the stress levels to a minimum. I can’t recommend them enough and have already sent their contact info to several other Veterans.

Overall very good. We did have some issues in the beginning when qualifying our income. We switched loan officers and we were good after that. The online portal they have is convenient and I like how they have the process mapped out so you know what is coming up next. They kept on top of things to make sure the closing happened on time. The loan origination fee was higher than some other bank I've used, but overall I would use them again.

The outreach strategies VU uses would be great for a first time home buyer that need a lot of assistance and guidance. This being my 4th home loan in 7 years, and having a really busy schedule it felt a bit pushy at times but that is totally subjective and I don’t necessarily discourage the practice. The Plaid software saved me a ton of time going through bank statements-Sustain. I also noted that tasks were assigned at intervals I assume as to not overwhelm. This is a personal preference but I just wanted it all up front so I could budget my time and not have to carve out 30 min here and there; but again I am probably the minority in this. Overall, great service.
We won’t be doing business with anyone else when it comes to home buying/refinancing! Veterans United has exceeded our expectations!
