When I found out my dream condo was not on the VA approved list I thought my dream was crushed. However, I got connected with Ty and the VU team and they helped get the condo approved with the VA! The rest of the process was very smooth thanks to my hardworking and passionate VU team.
Mr. John and his team was just straight up cool. Mr. John will hold a conversation with and do his job at the same time. I would recommend John and his team to anyone that wants that family vibe business relationship.
Exceptional and outstanding service throughout the entire process and the entire staff.
They refused to communicate with underwriting for pertinent and necessary information regarding my trust. Extremely inexperienced with trusts, they refused to be proactive regarding areas in which they are unfamiliar, and delayed processing. They outright lied, or misrepresent situations, like referencing a law that doesn't exist and refused to source that law. Overall, they negotiated in bad faith just to keep me in the transaction long enough to ensure I could not switch lenders. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend VU/Mortgage Research Center LLC to any borrower, let alone a Veteran. In my opinion, they should not be authorized to issue VA loans, nor work in my state. If your loan is going to be typical and cookie cutter, then VU will probably work just fine for you. If you have a business, a trust, or any other legal infrastructure or estate plan that will be relevant to your purchase process, then stay far away; VU has no idea what they're doing.

I had a great experience working with Veterans United! Their online portal was very straightforward and extremely easy to use. Every document required had a brief explanation to clear up any confusion and if I still had questions, the team helping me through the process were always quick to reply. I had a very unique situation coming into this and Veterans United was more than happy to take on the challenge and help me get into my first home. I can't recommend them enough!
