I felt very supported throughout the entire process. Veterans United made my first home purchase a dream come true. Every department from the loan officer to the loan concierge worked together like a team to accomplish the mission.
Kayla is exceptional!!! She is on the ball and knows her stuff. I had no clue what was going on in the beginning and she didn’t skip a beat to call me and answer any and all of my questions. Her team is also awesome sauce and willing to help any time. She was always punctual on getting back with me. If Kayla is your loan officer then you’re in great hand and you’ll be a home owner in no time. We closed on my house in less than a month!!!!
If you are a new home buyer- STAY AWAY! We are experienced buyers, have had mortgages before and knew what to look for, so we stuck it out because the rate was good in a volatile market. The staff at Veteran's United don't communicate well with each so we were constantly checking their work. It was a laborious process and I would never use them again!
My team was exceptional! They were quick to answer any questions I had and would reach out to me to see how I was doing.

Overall, we had a great experience with VA Home Plans! In the past with other home loan companies, we didn't feel as much warmth as we do now. After this experience, we will definitely be using VA Home Loans in the future when the time is right.
Tommy and his team did an amazing job keeping me up to date each step of the way. Closing was chaotic and he and his team were the most reassuring group of people.
The team was a pleasure to work with and addressed my questions quickly.
