26 years ago I purchased my first home. Totally different process so I really underestimated the rigors of the process and the prior level of preparedness required to pull off such a monumental accomplishment. But Katie and her team from first contact until close, had my back and front of course I had to do what was required but I was totally supported from start to finish. Team was good, were willing to initiate communication when something was required. Not once got asked about a down payment, never got asked about goals (low monthly payment, early payoff, etc.), and buying down my interest rate wasn’t mentioned by anyone at any point. Having bought two homes previously, I would say overall it was an average experience.
