Amy McCauly was not asked about in this review for some reason, but she was next in line right after Charlie. Going above and beyond, getting what needed to be done, done. Great people, turned my negative experience into not so negative.
I started this process by shopping with other lenders but was blown away by the service provided by Andy and the team. He was fast and responsive to all my tasking and questions. I felt as though he had my best interest in mine through the whole process. I would recommend Veterans United to anyone and will be using them again in the future.
I didn’t get the change to thank Eric Bals who also was a huge help throughout this process. I could not have asked for a better team to work with. VU made me feel like my service was truly appreciated in the way they took care of me as one of their own.

We now own a home with no down payment thanks to a VA loan that was handled by Veterans United from start to finish. They coached us on repairing a poor credit rating up to the minimum required. And their website gave clear tutorials in both written and video formats for any step of the home buying process. Uploading and e-signing documents online also sped up the process significantly. Whew!

Everything went well only thing was the lenders needing the entire time share contract, that is over 80 pages and we just happened to have it saved on line or we wouldn’t have had. We sent maintenance fees also just entirely too much. Everytime we turned around something different, just give me to do list with everything needed and don’t keep adding. I think we also sent some things twice but just me venting I’m getting too old to keep hunting paperwork.
