This has been an amazing experience throughout the whole process, we will most definitely refer any other veterans we know to veterans united.
I know there's a lot of numbers and stuff involves but I wish I were better informed about exactly what was expected between offer and closing. I felt I didn't hear anything until a week before closing and then it was crunch time and everything was a mess. A little more communication on what exactly is expected and updated numbers were my only complaint and frustration.
The process was painless and the people courteous and determined. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Having to buy home is stressful enough and we where doing it from 5,000 miles away but could have not been a better experience for me and my entire family.
Here comes the bad news. It is unfortunate that you can't clone Forest so not all of your people are awesome. As a matter of fact when friends complain about VU I tell them to give them another chance and call Forest. That being said it is my opinion there needs to be some serious QA training because I almost switched loan companies in the middle of this deal because of Kat Oriez. Forest stepped in and cooled things down but I am very unhappy with the way she handled this loan. She gave the insurance agent a wrong address and then worded it like it was her mistake that was holding us up. There was a bizarre form needed from my manager that I wasn't able to get that she indicated was needed by a certain date but when that date came up she decided to leave work early and kept me worrying all weekend that my loan was going to get declined and when she got back she said the dates were just made up by her to keep me motivated they weren't actual deadlines. I of course was furious. At the end of the day, I have a great house at a great deal and I am very happy with Rich, Forest, and the rest of the VU team. I love what you guys do for Veterans.

Love the loan team and the additional assistance with things such as insurance. The only hiccup was that I bundled auto with home reducing home insurance that was not reflected on final loan documents. Despite this, I still received a better rate through VU than I could searching on my own.

The entire team was amazing. I appreciate everyone's hard work to get my family into a new home. We literally could not have done it without the team we had. Molly and Nathan on my loan team were rock stars. They kept me in the loop and let me know what they needed quickly. Emily our Concierge was so sweet and helped point us in the right direction for many things. I know there is a whole slew of people behind the scenes to get us to closing and to all of them, thank you. I cannot recommend Veterans United enough.
