I got the privilege of knowing Nick, and then Sarah around April of 2022. It came to be after my wife’s Father had passed a month earlier in March of that same year. We contacted VU and wanted to get a Loan so my wife could keep her Fathers home. Nick was our initial contact. Over several Months dealing with the process we got to what was to be the closing for the property, and A bigger tragedy hit. My wife passed away. Being an only child and stressed to the max her heart gave out 8 months after burying her Dad. Devastated and not really knowing what to do I basically stumbled around not knowing what to do nor where to go. I couldn’t stay in the home anymore. The loss was felt by everyone including my team who had labored for us all those months. “ Wondering in the Wilderness “ only not to reach the Promised Land!
