We are an older couple. My husband had just got his retirement package from the military. Veterans United was there to help us with every thing. We knew nothing about buying a house. They walked us through every step of it they are very professional. You could tell the whole team worked well together if one person didn’t know the answer to our questions they would find someone that did we had contact with at least 3 to 4 people. You could tell they were there to get us the best deal possible, and to help us through all of it. We appreciate all that they did for us. Thank you Veterans United.
Underwriting needs to be more organized. I must have heard”this is the last thing we need” at least 10 times. It’s not like mine was the first mortgage you ever funded. Make a checklist and stick with it. Stop telling people this is the last thing until it really is. Stop giving inaccurate closing cost estimates. This was by far the most frustrating and infuriating underwriting process I have ever been put through, and I have purchased 6 homes in my lifetime. The Jeff and Ryan were great. Kole did his best with circumstances beyond his control. However, underwriting needs a complete revamp of how they do their job.
All were very helpful and prompt.
