Service was good, I do not agree with the 5k application fee. I was under the impression that the VA loan was to help veterans, not bene them over the barrel adding 5k to their loan. If I had a chance, I would seek another lender and put 5k toward my house, not to a lender who’s intentions are not clear.

The funding fee is actually a charge required by the Department of Veterans Affairs, not by Veterans United. It’s collected by the VA to help keep the benefit available for future generations of service members and veterans. Asli was great! She had solutions too problems with our seller that definitely helped get over hurdles that would have delayed our closing. We closed on time and in the end it was because Asli went above and beyond to stay on top of the loose ends and get problems resolved.
