Veterans United and my whole real estate team was extraordinary. They made the home buying process super easy and very understandable. I was never left in the dark or pressured into making any bad decision's. Being a first time home buyer, I was a bit nervous about the process, but my real estate team was there operating in my best interest and we accomplished the mission. I am now a homeowner and the next time I’m in the market I hope to get my “real estate avengers” back together.

My home buying experience was not as stressful as many warned me about. I worked with Leah Maloney and she along with her team were awesome! I really love the portal app which made sending and receiving information and documents very smooth. Being a first time buyer, Leah answered my questions and helped me to breathe easy during the process. The portal works, so when asked to fill out, sign or review any documents, the faster you comply the sooner you will be at signing. I put in an offer for the home I wanted the first part of December 2018 and by February 2019, I was closing on my first brand new home! Thank you Veterans United!

Though there are some amazing individuals working at this company, it felt as though their processes are not very functional. After correcting known information like ethnicity of my spouse, pointing out the obvious if you look at it on several issues, refilling out the same exact information I had submitted previously, and abysmal communication between VU and my real estate agent, closing lawyer, etc. The stress of feeling like I worked as quality assurance for people not paying attention to what they are doing literally shaved time off of my lifespan.

I’m glad to hear you connected with some individuals on the team, but I’m truly sorry the overall process left you feeling like you had to catch mistakes, repeat paperwork, and deal with poor communication between parties. Buying a home is such an important milestone, and attention to detail should be at the forefront. I hate that it felt like you had to take on that burden yourself.
