I got frustrated with particularities and changes/extra documentation due to underwriters and having to redo stuff just because some time had passed. I feel like if I got through it pretty much until days before sale with the first house it should require to be reviewed by a new underwriter every time.

It was a joy working with them. My family was actually working with another bank at same time trying for the pre-approval so I could put in offers and they got me the pre-approval without invasive questions at that stage that the other company seemed to ask before even considering pre-approval.

Communication throughout could have been a little more consistent. This was our first time buying a home and we felt without direction during some portions of the process. For example where/how to pay our mortgage was never conveyed to us. Otherwise everything was excellent and we are so grateful.
Overall I'm very impressed how everything is handle. The process is so stress free. Veterans United is outstanding.
