Everything was great. Julie was a fantastic point person to work with. She actually answered my questions over a year ago when I was still just looking into the loan process and would intermittently check on me until I was ready to buy. Her being kind and responsive when I was just looking for information is why I came to veterans united first when I was acutely ready ti buy. Ali and her did a great job going through the process and honestly made it very easy.
We recently closed on our home, and Veterans United exceeded our expectations. Their team was always available, kept us informed throughout the process, and made a complicated experience feel much easier. We never felt like just another loan file. I didn’t think I’d be in my own house this year. Veterans United not only approved my loan but actually approved me for $150,000 more than I initially thought I could qualify for. Seemed to be too many hoops to jump through when we are a well qualified buyer with top credit scores. Requests to get Retirement Orders, A signed letter from a Commander (in this case a General) and the Retirement pay calculator was redundant and very demeaning. Especially when we could just purchase the property with cash and our $1.6 million in investments were not even taken into account. This was after our loan officer said the letter from the commander wouldn’t be required.

We first began searching for a home before a military move with unknown dates. The team helped us move quickly on a house that ultimately wasn't meant to be and handled it very smoothly.
