I found the home buying experience with Veterans United to be very simple. When I had questions they were answered immediately. The market for the home that I purchased was very competitive and required prompt action to make it happen. They were right here every step of the way. I also found their interest rates to be competitive.
This team made it easy from start to finish! Closed on my first home in less than three weeks, and still get follow up calls to make sure my family is settling in well! What a great experience! I would recommend Veterans United to every veteran!
While the team was great the financial regulatory paperwork is exceedingly irritating and violates constitutional privacy (obviously my opinion) the gov't has no need to know as much about me as was collected during this process. Not VA United's problem.
Those concerned about the time frames of a VA loan need not to worry. I know experiences may vary, but my entire process; from getting my pre-approval was 35 days. That is including things that were out of Veterans United's control. Otherwise the timeframes could have possibly been even less. Thank you again Chrystal Franks, her team, and Veterans United.

Ryan Hauser and Nick Whitworth made this process as easy as I could have possibly imagined. As a customer, a loan officer is a loan officer, but Ryan consistently told me exactly what to expect, gave me options of routes we could take, answered every question no matter if he was in office or not, and fought to get me the best possible situation. I was originally decideing between two mortgage company’s (VU and another) at the start. And when i thought i had decided to stick with the other, so i called ryan to tell him. And he said "no problem, i just want the best deal for you! and if that’s not with us i get it. Just send me over the quote so i can look it over and make sure that it’s actually the best deal" which is awesome! and a few days later he told me the downsides about what i was getting myself into, which the other mortgage company did not. It seemed to me, that if ryan needed to restart the whole process to get me a slightly more advantageous deal, he would have. Veterans United has continued to impress me time and time again and these two especially. If i were Ryan/ Nick’s boss, i would be so extremely proud to have them on my team. They’ve gone above and beyond every time i needed them to and then some. I will actively choose theses two no matter the hoops i have to jump through in my home selling and home buying journey in the future.
