Normally, the home loan and home buying process is complicated, confusing, and overwhelming- especially when buying a home from across the country. However, everyone on the VU team was proactive in reaching out and helping me through the process step by step. They even helped me set up home insurance and services, and my lender came to my home inspection so we could meet in person. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to buy a home- they not only set the bar for lenders.... they exceed it!
I would recommend, There is only 1 issue. it is my understanding the HELOC could have been kept open by filling a form. we where unaware that the HELOC would close, we didnt want it to close. We will work this out with that company. However all things considered, the speed and everything , Nicole was great and I would highly recomend.
Veterans United was an awesome experience. If you are a first time homebuyer this is the way to go. If you are lucky enough to get Katie and her team as your lendors your worries are over. Just sit back and give them all the required documents and they will take care of the rest. Awesome Awesome job by each and everyone on her team. Our VU team is exceptional, I felt that they want us to really win. Especially Spencer and Mackenzie who worked and walked us through the whole process. Team work makes the dream work indeed! I am grateful to them for helping us make our dream came true. Now, my little family and I will be making more beautiful memories in our first home!

Aaron was a Top Notch Loan Officer who took the time to make sure I understood the loan process and how it would progress . He checked in and answered any questions and reassured me when I became anxious.
