Very thorough and great communication. Overall, great job!

United veterans home loans is a pleasure doing business with. Montgomery and Garrett are extremely helpful in any situation. They make your experience pleasurable throughout the whole process.

The Veterans United online platform is up-to-date and user friendly. You don’t have to look far to see some promotion where they are helping a servicemember, but is that enough? My recent experience with. Veterans United says no. Either the loan officers are grossly overworked or vastly undertrained, maybe both. Great thing is that you will not know until after you get under contract :)

The whole process went very well all the items needed to expedite he loan were explained to me in a very clear manner if I needed help. Over all I’m happy with the whole experience of buying my home with Veterans United help…

Our entire loan team took very good care of us. We bought a house from across the country and our team me it pretty simple for us.

You can't go wrong with Veterans United, they make the home buying experience a breeze!

Melissa Hodges was so kind and helpful! She made the process easy and walked me through every step :)

Communication was extremely poor. I was constantly having to call and email and call and call again w unanswered questions. I would explain something to my 'loan coordinator' and it would still be on my to do list for days. The whole To Do List was deceptively slick. In the end I felt it bordered on harrassment; because issues would seemingly be resolved but wait nope there it is again on the To Do List. Gotta take care of that to do list, even tho the task was supposed to have been removed by the loan coordinator. I was harrassed for things not even related to my account (a water test that was for another veteran!)Closing was delayed; I don't think I even found that out not even a week prior to the date.I never spoke to my loan coordinator even once, even though I left multiple messages for him to call me back.I still don't know how to set up my mortgage payments. There's a fee that was supposed to be waived because I am 100% disabled - I have no idea if that actually happened. Haley was 'unsure' and Donald never called me back.I had to jump through all sorts of hoops last minute to procure a bank check on a Friday afternoon for a Monday morning closing because no one could give me an actual dollar amount. My realtor was so out of communication I get a text from her the day AFTER closing saying 'did you close?'. Meanwhile she was constantly bragging how she found me my dream home - no she didn't!!! My mom's friend found it on Zillow!!!The appraisal was late, the inspection process was confusing and not properly explained, my house was not properly cleaned upon the move in date.....I feel I could go on but this is starting to affect my blood pressure.

Matthew, On behalf of all of us here at Veterans United, we want to thank you for providing honest feedback around your loan experience. We value your patience and commitment in sticking with your loan specialist it is important to us that we work hard to provide excellent service, and we realize that the home buying process can become stressful when working to gather the required documentation. Licensed Underwriters comply with regulations to ensure loans are properly documented, and we work to make that process as easy as possible. Last minute requests often create additional stress, and we apologize that your experience was negatively impacted. We are glad that you are a new homeowner and we want to reassure you that your comments will be used to help future clients. It is our goal to prevent a similar experience and continue to hold ourselves accountable for outstanding customer service. Our Client Advocate team will be taking a closer look at your experience as a potential training opportunity. If you wish to provide more details, then you may reach out to connect with us at any time and we apologize if you felt there were unnecessary delays during your process.

If you're in the Hinesville or surrounding areas I absolutely suggest Mr.Isreal. He was absolutely the best to work with & helped me understand everything I needed as a first time home buyer all the while ensuring I felt comfortable through the process. He answered every single call and every single text message and I really don't think I could have gotten through the process with another loan specialist. Thank you Israel Tinoco. The Veterans United Office is well placed and very clean everytime I visited. I even got a 1st time home owner gift and I absolutely love it.

Please do appraisals before inspections to avoid unnecessary costs if the appraisal comes back less than contracted offer. Check for private roads because you may need a private road agreement/waiver Have all name changes updated in ebenefits so the Certificate of Eligibility isn't delayed. Ask Sellers if they had any equity loans/ lines of credit on the home in the past to provide statements to show they were paid in full. Be mindful of subdivision name changes as some places don't track them but are reflected on deeds etc. Use discernment on whether you are wanting to purchase a home as is because the home inspection (Highly recommrnded) may come back with more optional repairs than the appraisal. Highly recommend negotiating bulk of the closing cost into the offer.

You can't go wrong with the loan officers and staff at Veteran's United. You as the buyer always comes first!

Don’t hesitate to reach out to Veterans United, you won’t regret placing your future in such a capable system and a team with true priorities that are yours!
