The outside vendor used in the desktop appraisal was poor and less than flexible. I paid to expedite the appraisal and they did the wrong appraisal and made no concerted effort to correct their mistake. This caused me to seek two extension and miss the original closing by three weeks which caused added expenses for VU and myself. VU was very accommodating in adjust as much as they could.

If you are a military member, I would absolutely recommend going through Veterans United! I tried using another loan company and they did not understand anything about military pay and just made the process even more complicated and difficult. The Veterans United Team was extremely attentive and understood the unique aspects of military life to ensure a smooth loan refinance process. Thank you for making this process easy for me!!
Being overseas in the military you would think the process would be hard. But I can’t relate due to the wonderful staff here they made the process so easy for me and less stressful. The outcome was wonderful and I’m very happy to have choose them. They won’t disappoint.

I was glad to get the help from Vetereans United . I don't believe I could have done it with out your help .
The underwriting process was very trying and frustrating. I felt the underwriter did not have a understanding of both my finances and obligations as well as the redundant request for the same information. The need to explain and justify an optional choice for past expenses to include letters, transcripts and course and fee statements for my children college was (in my opinion) completely unnecessary and a waste of time and intrusive. Had it not been for Whitney, I would have cancelled the loan and the process.
