The only negative thing I have to say is honestly just about how aggravating the underwriting process was. I know that’s nothing against Veterans United but yeah that’s the only thing that was keeping us from closing on the home earlier. Thanks to everyone for the help!!
Overall, between Tyson, Ofelia, and Amanda, they were able to meet the dates with ease and had literally no issues. All of them deserve a 12 out of 10.
They always kept me informed of what was going on throughout the whole process and even if I didn't really something they would always tell me to get something ready just in case it might have been needed later on. Well prepared.

In May we started the buying process with a local lender and a few weeks into the process I found out that he was not very familiar with the Va loan process. So I decided to go with Veterans United and boy I'm glad I did. We started the process on June 16th and we closed on July 14th. I had a few obstacles to overcome and the other lender I started with made it look like a very long process but Veterans United took my concerns, listen to me and made the process go smooth. This was actually a smooth process considering this was the first time I did all of this online. My last mortgage was ~ 2009 and more hands-on. I did like the "to-do's list that helped me submit the documentation I needed for the lender. Eric and team were also able to capture a nice rate considering the roller-coaster of the market.
