We are very satisfied with everyone in the Virginia Beach, VA office as they went out of their way to get our loan in place and processed so that we could close on our new home on time. They even got us a refund on our closing cost instead of us having to pay for any closing costs.
I would recommend Veterans United to anyone that is expecting the highest standards in customer service. The service that I received will not go unnoticed and was truly exceptional. Thank you Vererans United and Dan Salter for your help during my home buying journey. There aren't enough Thank you's that would amount to my appreciation for a company like yours.

Best mortgage loan experience I have ever had!
Home buying can be a complicated process. Heather and I made it easier by having the right people on our team. You should choose a good Realtor. Veterans United is a GREAT mortgage company that understands the VA process. They worked diligently for us and helped this Navy Veteran secure a VA home loan benefit that I earned from my time in service. Constant communication and great teamwork by all parties made for a mostly smooth transaction.
Veterans United's outstanding professionalism, performance and total dedication to our loan reflected great credit upon themselves and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Navy. Bravo Zulu for a job well done.
Thanks for all your help Scott
I purchased a home last year with a realtor who recommended Veterans United. I was happy with the service I received from Tammy Hemmie, and all of the Veterans United staff, during that transaction. When I decided to purchase an investment property this year, I went back to Tammy and VU. This experience was even better than last year. Tammy and Debbie Hiles were amazing--always responsive, always available to answer my myriad questions and address my numerous concerns through the process. I would recommend VU to anyone wanting to "hire" a mortgage broker firm who cares about their clients. Thank you VU, Tammy and Debbie!
Everyone was extremely helpful going through the loan process from start to finish. Questions were answered in a timely manor and I would highly recommend Veteran's United.
I would recommend Veterans United to any veteran out there. You will not find a better company in the loan business. I was treated like a human and not another loan the entire period that I worked with the true professionals at Veterans United. The very best company for any veteran!
my experience with veterans home loans was the best. This is the third home purchase I have done and compared to this one the others where nightmares lol. I will tell you when I walked into my broker/realtors office and they saw my veterans United home loan folder/packet they took me aside to ask if I was sure about my lender. They proceeded to tell me horror stories about delayed paperwork, delayed closing dates and not being able to talk to anyone at the company. If you here this do as I did nod your head and say I am pleased with who I have chosen. When it's all said and done you will have the same experience I had, a great one. Not once did I have issues contacting them, I had no paperwork issues and I closed 3 days early. So if you want a lender who takes care of everything for you and treats you with respect and acts like they work for you, then veterans United is who you should call.
If Cody Smith was not my UV contact- I would have certainly decided to choose a another lender -I highly recommend him to others and will.
Nice Job Cody and THANKS Mr. Impossible!!!!
I would highly recommend Veteran's United. They are very helpful. Their Lighthouse program is also free and I was able to use them to get my scores up to qualify.
