Veterans United has the best team of specialists. I heard horror stories from other first time home buyers(Non-Veterans). However, my team at VU was amazing. Communication was always open & clear. Response time was almost instant, unless I sent a message after business hours I knew by morning I would see a response. Everything was seamless from beginning to closing. I loved the fact that I could upload my documents to the secure portal. That definitely made processing time much quicker. Much appreciation & many many thanks to Todd, Ben, and Alisca they were the best!
Veterans appraiser got Covid, rather than turn my appraisal in to be reassigned he waited two weeks. I could have lost the home. Sellers were not happy. Also i had a non refundable flight and lost $153 because we had to reschedule closing.

Veterans United online user experience is excellent. I could tell that a lot of care and time has been put into the interface, and there are a lot of great educational tools. This was especially helpful for me as a first time home buyer. I appreciate that everything is oriented to the VA loan. It made me confident that I was using a lender who was an expert at my type of loan. It is easy to complete to-do list items using the website, and I was able to keep up with the process despite my crazy work schedule. Overall, it was a great experience using Veterans United.Alex was confident and professional throughout the process. I have a bit of an unusual work history, as does my wife. Alex took a lot of time and care preparing our file and guided us every step of the way. He was always happy to answer questions, and I sure did ask a lot of questions as a first time home buyer. He never made me feel dumb, and was always helpful and responsive. He went the extra mile getting our townhome complex VA approved, which is a big extra step in the process. This not only helped me, but helps any future veterans who want to purchase in our complex. I felt confident knowing that he understood that process and would make it happen in time. He basically had to do everything himself, as I was often unavailable due to a wild work schedule. He coordinated with our realtor, and the two of them tag-teamed the whole process. It was great knowing I had him in my corner, and I didn't have to hover and make sure it was getting done. Alex is a total professional and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend Alex and his services. He seems like a great guy too!
