Being overseas while going under contract made me really appreciate their system and level of care and consideration. Based on the time differences we had they excelled at providing me with the perfect step by step process. Coordinating my pre-approval to offering the best possible APR. Working with Veterans United made the VA process so seamless. It removed the stress levels of purchasing a new home by at least 90%. I would gladly recommend them to all my active family and friends.

Working with Mike and the whole Team was a good experience, one that we will always remember and grateful for. We would recommend VU to anyone who is looking to buy a home.

Veterans United is the place to go for a home loan…2 thumbs up in my book!!!

the prosses is fast and the help was fantastic

A lot of positive things to say about this company. They are experts in VA loans and I recommend them any chance I get. The only negative thing I could say is that the company will probably sell the loan, which is not uncommon in the mortgage game. Very few don't sell, as far as I know, but I don't know if you would get the same service VU provides. That makes it worth it.

If you are a Veteran looking to buy a home, it’s a no brainer to reach out to Veterans United for help!

My experience with Veterans United was overwhelmingly positive. They took the process of buying a new home, a scary endeavor at the best of times, and turned it into a positive experience where I felt engaged, informed, confident, and capable of making the best possible decisions. I am floored with the customer service that was received and will recommend my loan coordinator Stephen Erickson to everyone I know in even a remotely similar situation.

It has been great working with Veterans United since the start to the end. I'm a first time home buyer so I had many questions along the way and they have been great about answering all of my questions. I'm very excited to move into my new home and start this new chapter of my life. Thank you Veterans United for being so easy to work with and for the gift, very thoughtful of you I loved it! :)

Jaimie and her team were great! All our questions got answered quickly and they were there to guide us through every step of the home buying process.

I just got a phone call from you guys asking me how everything went and that poor guy got an earful from me
Response from Veterans United
Hi John, I am sorry to hear about your frustrations and do understand your apprehension.
We do state the servicing of this loan is to be transferred on your initial LE (on page 3 of your LE) and that document is generally received at the very beginning of your loan process. Then it is stated on your Deed of Trust that was signed at closing and notified 15 days prior to the transfer via the Servicing Transfer Statement which is mailed out.
We aren't yet set up to keep all loans for the long term, though we are working towards that goal, and in the meantime, we only work with servicers that we have a good working relationship with, which allows us to work together in case of any concerns regarding your loan. A loan servicing transfer in no way is a reflection on your loan or how much we value you as a customer of Veterans United Home Loans.
We understand that preparing you for settlement is part of our commitment to excellent service. We know there can be questions surrounding a loan transfer to a new company, and we want to emphasize that Veterans United staff are still here to support you with assistance if needed. Our Client Advocate team will be researching your comments and will work alongside our teams to discover what may prevent a similar experience in the future.
