We were referred to VU and Cara Musick by another Veteran who had used these services and had a great experience. It is unfortunate that we cannot relate. Our experience was horrible. The amount of stress this put on our family was ridiculous and unnecessary. When asked how our loan ever made it through underwriting, we were told "it's simple human error". When I asked why the error wasn't caught by some sort of quality control, I was told "the entire team missed it". The service we received was completely unacceptable.
This is the second time that I have used Veterans United. The first time was with a cash back home refinance to remodel a home that I sold and the second time was to purchase a new home. Felt just like working with a brother in arms while serving. My loan officer Nick Haller and his team(Audrey and Phoebe) made everything simple and easy. Felt very relaxed and never stressed during the entire process. Nick's team offered assistance with everything from the home buying process, choosing realtors, finding movers, setting up utilities, to offers for security systems. Would recommend to anyone even considering and wonder if its even possible to find better customer service?
not just veteran united but the salesman his name is CARL BUTLER he went out of his way to show me houses and made it very easy experience to deal with him, he clearly explain to me everything . i would recommend him very highly what a patient saleman he is one of a kind.
