Aaron Brooks and the Veteran's United team made the home buying experience a seamless one. They provided me, as a first-time homebuyer, all the information I needed.
Overall, I feel my VU experience was unorganized, chaotic, and lacked communication at keys points of the loan process. At times I had to call ask ask on where we were at in the loan, what I needed to do next, who needed me to do what, who ordered inspections, and why was my close date a week late (I found out the day before the original close date and apparently no one was going to tell me). There was a major disconnect between each level of Veterans United from 1st loan specialist to the 2nd loan specialist, and from 2nd loan specialist to the real estate agent. No one seemed to be talking to each other EFFECTIVELY in order to accomplish closing on time. Each person at VU was telling me a different thing at the same or different times and it was extremely frustrating to myself as well as the seller of the home and quite unprofessional from any reputable business.
If you want to have the best help to have a home, this is the company and the best people for the job. They are the only ones I would tell any vet to put their trust in . Not anyone these days are so helpful. I love you all . God Bless you all !! Mac.
Buyer beware is all I'm going to say. I would suggest you shop around for a Local Lender if possible. Our experience was not one to Bragg about.
