We loved how streamlined the whole process was, we appreciated everyone we worked with.
That being said,
A lot of things are automated or done from computers/ apps so it was a little frustrating trying to fact check everything.

Be prepared when buying a home, the better prepared you are the smother the process will go, Veterans United will help you every step of the way. Be responsive and finish your to do’s as soon as possible. Be ready for anything.

I’m truly grateful for the fast and efficient closing process. It was incredible to have the team I can trust.

Thanks VU for being there for me and my family through this entire process.

worked with my situation. was always on top of updated.

As a first time home buyer, I couldn't be more pleased with the services offered. 10/10 would recommend to anyone even thinking about buying a home.

Veterans United has been a pleasure to work with! The team has reached out with discount offers, assistance, and walked me along the process via virtually and phone communication. Was a smooth process, thanks again!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience buying a home.

We had the best team at Veterans United. The process was very painless and professional. Thank you Mr. Langdon, Jordan, and the rest of your team. We will definitely recommend you all for anyone that we know looking to purchase a home.

Veterans United Mortgage Company was an average at best experience overall. While they handled the loan process adequately, there were some areas that could have been smoother. Communication felt inconsistent at times, and certain steps took longer than expected. They weren’t necessarily bad, but they didn’t go above and beyond either. If you’re looking for a mortgage lender that simply gets the job done, they might be fine, but don’t expect top-tier service
Response from Veterans United
Hey Brian
Thanks for the honest feedback. I'm really sorry to hear the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. It sounds like we got the job done, but we didn’t provide the level of service you were hoping for—and that’s on us. Communication and timing are two things we know make a huge difference during the homebuying process, and I’m sorry we fell short in those areas.
If you’re open to it, we’d love to learn a little more about where things felt off. Feedback like this helps us improve, and it means a lot that you took the time to share your thoughts. You can reach my advocates at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We're in the office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, but feel free to reach out whenever it works for you.

Everything was perfect

The entire team made this so effortless and being pregnant through the process we definitely appreciated everything being a smooth and easy transition. 10 out of 10 for everyone who worked with us! Would definitely work with everyone again on any other home purchase in the future! THANK YOU ALL! We love our new start to our growing family in our new home!

Kari Frank was also fantastic as our Loan Coordinator. Answered all of our questions and was supper supportive.

Veterans United went above and beyond to take care of my family!

We want to extend our sincere gratitude for the outstanding service and support you and your team provided throughout our home buying journey. From the start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and truly exceeded our expectations.
Your commitment, responsiveness, and attention to detail made a stressful process feel seamless, enjoyable, and rewarding. This I feel is all due to your teams expertise and dedication.
We are extremely happy with how Eve turned out and couldn’t have asked for a better team to guide us through such an important milestone.
Thank you again for helping us find and secure our new home.

One complaint I do have is Cincinnati Co. Insurance. They were offered (by VU) as an insurer for the home I was buying, went through all the hassle and time of getting the policy finalized with Current from VU Insurance. After payment information was handed over, the insurance was denied due to previously known claims on my previous house and the house I was buying. This is knowable beforehand, and the fact that Cincinnati didn’t pull this information before offering me a quote was Bush League. Thankfully I still had SafeCo working a policy for the same address, so I only lost two days instead of a week during closing. SafeCo pulled the history on the house before proceeding with a quote, imagine that.
