Only recommendation I would have is a time for one on one, telephonic and or computer base chat counseling. Possibly two counseling sessions one in the beginning and one after underwriting process to answer any questions the buyer may have and to ensure information the buyer is receiving is accurate. Main purpose is to tie in all individuals working with the buyer such as a concierge and agent this will also give Veterans United an opportunity to explain the departments working on or with the buyer as will as go over discounts criteria. Overall my experience was a 10/10!!
I thought being a first time home buyer was going to be real scary. Boy was I fooled and surprised. Veterans United took the sting out of it. Surprisingly, I was able to do the whole process by mobile phone on a user friendly app, as I am not computer savvy at all. I recommend Veterans United for a hassle free home buying experience.
If you wanna feel at home let VU handle your home loan process and they will open the door for you.
If I could leave advice for the next Veterans, I would say... it pays to start early and it definitely pays to work with Veteran's United Home Loans in an effort to get the easiest process to buying a house. This because everyone was more than likely working several cases at once, but they made us feel like we were the only homebuyer in their portfolio. If I needed my Loan Officer, he was available day or night or even on weekends. If I needed my Loan Specialist he was immediately there to assist in making sure all of the neccessary documents were in order. Most of all, I could trust that my best interest was in the back of their mind and that they were acting on my behalf. I'll never buy a house through anyone else so long as I live.
It was awesome working with Mike. Always easy to get a hold of and answered every question I had.
Will do business again with Mike Wilson in the future.
