The team was extremely helpful and professional, handled all of my questions and guided me every step along the way , especially being a first time buyer.

I had some issues with credit and the team was able to help me figure them out to keep us on the time frame we were wanting. I had lots of questions because I am a first time homebuyer and did not know much about the process and I definitely was a needy buyer! They were very patient and never made me feel like I was asking for too much. I felt like with as little knowledge as I had, the team definitely helped my anxiety and made the process very smooth. I had lots of personal things happen the same time we were going under contract and the team, especially Kendall made me feel like I was more than a customer. He reached out after my car accident and was checking in and gave me lots of grace during the time period. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. Especially those who are nervous and not too confident in this area, they did great walking me through all the steps. I never felt like an inconvenience and they made sure to answer the questions in a way that did not make me feel silly for asking. For being very naive about the subject, I do not feel as if they were taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. I had experienced family looking over everything I was told/ advised. The team was not aware and not once did family have any concerns about what the team was presenting to me. Very respectful people. Also they communication was better than I could’ve asked for. It did not matter the time or day, the response time was always very reasonable. I am very happy I decided to go with VU and even more grateful that I got to work with the team I had.

Overall just an amazing experience. Top notch service, no gimmicks! Everyone was very professional and the experience was basically stress free!

We called Matt specifically as he was recommended to us and he dropped the ball multiple times when doing our loan seemed as if he just forwarded all of the information to the underwriter without reviewing and then got rejected where he should have caught the errors. The loan got pushed to the beginning of the next month costing us more money. We asked for help with the financial cost difference and were told that’s a reasonable request but when we reviewed final documents right before signing there was no noticeable assistance. I just wanted get the process over with so we just signed and eat the difference. Also, Seemed to have higher rates than others in the industry as I called others after and was told it was almost a full percentage lower at that point. Which with the rate having to be relocked (due to delays) I would have expected it to have been reviewed at that point. This is my 3rd house I purchased (2nd VA Loan) and was the worst experience I have had.
