I would highly recommend Veterans United home LoansWilliam Sutherland

I'm just grateful for all who helped to make this dream possible: Terri, Paige, Misty, Marie, Jill and all the people who worked in the back office. Thanks a million to you all!

This has truly been an amazing and seamless homebuying experience. Excellent customer service, fast and clear communication, and a streamlined loan process has made my first home purchase so easy!

Both Wendy Pullman and Samantha Lennox are a dream to work with. If your a veteran and are uncertain about any part of the home buying process these two ladies help you every step of the way! Thank you to both!

Advise to potential Veteran homebuyers- allow your self plenty of time for the process to move forward. Promptly work through your “to do” list and then let your loan specialist work for you and do their job. They know what they are doing let them work for you.

Very first call was very good information, super willing to help. Why? They wanted our business. There were a few super awesome selling points that made us choose to go with V.U. It did feel a little coerced, as in, "I'll help you get this info but I need all of your info first so I can look it up." Then turns out it was an application before ever stating we wanted to put in an application. Still the promises were good so we decided to go ahead with it.Beginning process of the loan was still helpful. Once we actually got a house, the response was good. The last couple weeks we would be contacted at the very end of the business day with something super important that has to be done that day. Then we would go online to do it, have a question and couldn't get ahold of anyone because they waited 5 minutes before closing to tell us.The communication got less and less, the urgency of getting the paper work processed in time disappeared. Not sure if they were new or what happened. We asked to be called with anything that was important, we would continually get emails instead of phone calls. We were promised phone calls to go over questions and didn't get the calls.Turns out all the promises benefits of going with Vet united we didn't actually get because it was "Used to get a better interest rate" but when we were told about what rate we could get, using the credit was never mentioned.Did we close in time? Yes. Was it a good experience? No. Other banks would've been better (our first home buyer experience was better.) Maybe it was the particular team, I'm not sure. Our realtor was great and picked up the slack.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Preston, thank you for taking the time to share this information. Last minute requests often create additional stress, and we apologize that your experience was negatively impacted. We are glad that you are a new homeowner and we want to reassure you that your comments will be used to help future clients. It is our goal to prevent a similar experience and continue to hold ourselves accountable for outstanding customer service.

11/10 would recommend going to Veterans United! They always took the time to explain every little detail with me. My loan specialist Tony, was real with me and did an amazing job explaining to this novice home buyer each and ever step. One thing I really appreciated is that he was honest and upfront the entire way. He always explained each step and the good and the bad of going with each decision. From here on out each home I buy I will go with Veterans United. I can’t imagine a better experience!

To the all the veterans who want to become an homeowners. I would recommend Veteran United above New Day USA from start to finish. Again, it was the willing and motivation to work any and all veterans regardless of circumstances presented throughout the process. Veteran United believe in me, and gave me the attention I needed to get the loan process. In fact, all close veteran friends I am in contact with has had a similar experience with Veteran United. The success of making prior veterans home a reality is why I am now home owner, and would recommend Veteran United to all veterans seeking a home.
