VU is excellent. They have an entire team to help guide the buyer through the entire process. Not only the home buying but the other things that can easily slip your mind like utility transfer or set up, mail forwarding, security systems, and many other things that can get lost in the process when focused on getting to closing. I also appreciate how Devin, Kurt, Daniel, and Katie promptly return phone calls and kept me informed every step of the way. I was never left wondering and worrying about what was next. I would recommend VU to anyone who is in the market for a house.
My experience with Veterans United in the refinance process was as successful and fast as the process could be! Heidi and Megan, and the support team with them, were all knowledgeable, professional, excellent in communicating with me, and sincerely interested in working with me from the start to the finish line in my refinance process! Without hesitation I can say those I worked with at Veterans United were stellar, and the experience was absolutely a positive one!!

I was sent paperwork that was already filling out with someone else’s personal information, which could have lead to identify theft. Communication was poor, as we almost missed our appraisal window when the appointment was canceled before talking to me after several days had passed. This could have been avoided with a simple text message. Overall, I will never use a VA loan again bc the process is very long and arduous and you don’t get much from it. An email attachment was also missed at a crucial point, which delayed closing and made our move more complicated than it had to be. The underwriting process seemed longer than it should have been as well. I do not recommend using Veterans United. Use someone that seems to have it together.

I first heard about Veterans United from my realtor and she gave me Allison number the rest you may say was as fine and smooth and frogs hair. No stress, no confusion,professional and kind. For every issue Veterans United had an solution. Great group of individuals who care. What more can you ask for. My owning a home matters to them. Pretty special if you ask me.
Being a widow at 70 yrs of age and a veteran (served in Marine Corps), I found Travis and his staff very nice to work with. I always had questions and they were very friendly and patient with me. They always took their time explaining things to me. They were extremely knowledgeable and made me actually enjoy going thru the re-finance procedures. I had no doubts and complete confidence in Travis and his team. Very professional, friendly and enjoyed this experience.
