This was the first time that I used Veterans United to buy a house and if I have to buy another house, Lord forbid, I will definitely be going to Veterans United.
Let me say I have bought 3 houses and refinanced about 5 times in my lifetime, all but one VA loans. This has been the most pleasant experience out of all of them. Juliana and Kurt were both open and prompt with telling me what to expect and where we were in the process. The process did take a little longer than I am used to but there was a change in VA requirements that caused it and not my loan team. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.
I honestly don't know if I'd highly recommend this company to friends or family right now. But if some improvements are made in accounting, I'd have more confidence in the company and be more willing to recommend.

They are really good at conning you out of your equity to reinforce their selling position for your loan, which they sell to highest bidder as soon as you close. Also they will force you to setup an escrow as if you wont pay your bills, again this is done to reinforce their selling position, post closure. They say it is done to protect the borrower, blatant lie. Not a crime, just really sneaky and if you want straight forward try Navy Federal Credit Union.
