I had 5-8 options to choose from when seeking a VA cash-out refinance. Initially others had perceptibly better pay outs, but with a lot of catches that would most likely trip up the bottom line. I felt VU, by way of Colon and Thomas, had integrity and character and were trustworthy and patient and above and beyond… traits of folks I worked with in uniform.
My loan team was exceptional! Be ready for headaches when your loan goes to underwriting. Answered and supplied the same information several times which delayed the closing three times. Dezmond and his team were vigilant in working with me and calming my nerves while dealing with underwriting.
Chris is so amazing! Called to check on everything before I could even reach out to him.

The process was (for me) very easy. Every task that was given to me in the portal, I made sure to complete them the same day. Any explanations I had to complete or anything I wasn’t sure about, they were answered immediately by my loan team.
